Effective now, fasp 1.x enters extended support, meaning that Aspera will continue to support the fasp 1.x product line but patch and maintenance releases will no longer be provided, and support and maintenance for fasp 1.x products will only be renewable through July 1st, 2009.

Starting with fasp 2.1.x products, backward compatibility may require a special installation procedure and will not be activated by default.
