Centrally manage, monitor and control your Aspera transfers and nodes with Aspera Console—the advanced web-based management application, providing comprehensive, centralized control and complete visibility over your Aspera network.
The Aspera Console simplifies the process of deploying Aspera Server and Client nodes and managing Aspera transfers between them across a wide area network (WAN). Providing users with detailed visibility over all file transfer activity within an Aspera network, Aspera Console offers an advanced web-based interface with comprehensive real-time notification, logging and reporting capabilities, while maintaining a centralized transfer history database for detailed auditing and customized reporting.
Aspera Console’s role-based access control allows users to monitor, start transfers, and generate fully customizable reports. From the Aspera Console, users can also automate files transfers—including multi-site synchronization with Aspera Sync and full business process orchestration with the Aspera Orchestrator—and integrate with third-party applications. Through Aspera Console, administrators have the ability to centrally configure all managed Aspera nodes, create and manage users and user groups, initiate and automate transfer jobs, and precisely control and monitor all transfer and bandwidth utilization parameters.

(*) Aspera Sync 1.0 is integrated with Aspera Console’s reporting capabilities of file transfer details and statistics. Subsequent releases of Aspera Sync will enable remote setup and configuration of synchronization nodes from the Aspera Console.
New in version 1.5
-
Powerful new transfer reporting capabilities for project-specific reporting and designed for large scale transfer history. Reports can be organized, sorted and filtered by virtually any transfer attribute (paths, IPs, status, etc.), including custom categories derived from transfer attributes and metadata assigned to transfers within the various Aspera applications. Report templates may be scheduled for automatic runs and email delivery.
-
Secure SSH tunnels for automatically connecting managed nodes to the Console. Tunnels secure management traffic and consolidate all Aspera control traffic to a single SSH connection for minimal firewall configuration.
-
New automatic backup and convenient data purge functions. Create scheduled backups of console configuration and history data and clean up Console data by status and age from the web UI.
-
Dashboard map visibility for transfers between managed and unmanaged nodes.
-
A new robust and easy install and configuration system.
-
New control panel for enterprise management of Console services including health monitoring and remote start/stop control.
-
Faster performance for very large transfer databases (1 million records) and improved file search speed.
- Plus many other features and important bug fixes.
